Excellent dental practice, been going here for years. Have used the Dentist and Hygenist. Always friendly and professional
57 Duddingston Crescent, Edinburgh EH15 3AY, UK – 0131 669 2114
When I go to the dentist I look calm, but that belies the terror I feel. Martin Morley at Craigentinny Dental seemed to understand my fear and never did anything that I wasn't comfortable with. I had sedation for some treatment, it was an excellent option. Martin and the sedation dental nurse Maureen were great - reassuring, calm, supportive. Thank you, I might even go back!
After being scared of the dentist for many years, I contacted Craigentinny dental and from day one they made me feel calm and relaxed. Although I still have that slight fear, I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. Sedation was an amazing way for me to start my process of being in a dentist again so for anyone who is fearing the dentist or needing dental treatment I couldn’t recommend somewhere highly enough.

Very good and helpful. Recently moved to another area and a different practice, but I now realise how good the surgery, staff and doctors are.
A good family health centre
89 Northfield Broadway, Edinburgh EH8 7RX, UK – 0131 657 5444
I have been with this surgery all my life, almost 34 years. The original old doctors were amazing but they have now all retired or left. There are a couple of doctors there who are very helpful but like other reviews have said, the receptionists let the place down. They sound aggressive over the phone, answer you back face to face when I was nothing but polite. No need for this. Asking simple questions seem like an inconvenience. I have waited an hour and a half past my appointment time to find the receptionist hadn't marked me as waiting. This has happened twice that i can think of. I don't think I've ever been taken on time. 30 mins plus past your appointment time is normal but don't dare be 1 min late or the aggressive receptionist will have something to say! If the receptionists were as they should be then i would have gave 4 stars but i have instead given a generous 3 stars

Visited a friend here today. Very easy to find. The car park is enourmas. Not sure about cost of parking since we were on motorbikes and they are free to park. Place was busy but we found the signage to find wards etc excellent. We did get lost but staff were very helpful and all do a fantastic job, both of looking after patients, and of keeping visitors right.
That was our 2 visit on A&E department today. We would like to thank you Dr Phillip Copley such a good care for my partner. All the test has been done and at the end we left this place sorted. This doctor was very helpful, professional and good organized. His calm attitude made me feel safe even after such a traumatic morning. Thanks again for looking after me, my partner and our baby!!! Helpful and friendly staff. I look forward going there to see how the garden staff have created with unwanted goods has developed, they have made a dull place to an entertaining place.
Congratulations to the staff who have taken the time to make a little garden area around their cabin. I dropped some rubbish off yesterday and it brightened a dull edinburgh evening to see the colourful display. Well done. Staff were pleasant and helpful as usual.

Alfie at Junk Buster was great. Fast, professional service and removed the grand piano from my classroom within 20 minutes. I would highly recommend!
Would highly recommend these guys. I called up Alfie last minute looking for help with clearing out my rental flat and attic prior to selling, he was very responsive and was able to fit me in quickly. The three guys came on time this morning and they quickly and efficiently cleared everything (Even though there was more than I expected - sorry!!). Nice guys as well. Top job!

I have always found most of the staff here very helpful. However, I tried to phone direct about something and was sent to a general council number and put on one of the council's interminable loops of numbers to press - none of which were relevant to my query. A direct number and a person to speak to would be far more useful.
Helpful staff! Nice layout. Very quick

A lovely sunny Sunday meant that most places on the promenade were packed solid. A quick search with Google Maps and we found Reds. When we got there it was quiet and the young lady who greeted us was very accommodating. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. The Kids menu & portions were spot on. Lovely staff, great food. Family friendly. Highly recommended.
Very nice restaurant. Clean and staff very pleasant. Food was gorgeous and hot. Excellent choice on menu especially if gluten free. Reasonably priced. Will return again.

5 stars for atmosphere 4 stars for food! What a lovely surprise we stumbled upon. After forgetting to make reservations on a Saturday evening, out Concierge was able to get us a late night table here, what a treat! The grounds and hotel itself are stunning, unique, and intriguing. Lovely cocktails to be had on your walk around the gardens so be sure to arrive early to fully enjoy. Dinner was lovely but the wine selection even better. Would certainly recommend this spot to anyone looking to feel as if you have escaped the bustle of city center.
Secret source of fine dining off the beaten path. The ambience is wonderful and it was a memorable evening. You must go.

I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. My 16 month old loves going to the nursery in the mornings. The staff are super helpful and very knowledgable and are happy to give advice if asked. We get a thorough 1 to 1 with a staff member at the end of each day including a completed book. All the kids seem happy here and they do lots and lots of activities. I particularly like the fact that they organise external companies to visit weekly such as music class. Nursery manager encourages parent interaction and lots opportunities to be involved with the nursery.

Having found out from friends who were parents that the waiting lists for nurseries in Edinburgh was CRAZY long I set about looking for nurseries when I was 6 months pregnant. I lived and worked in Leith so I was looking for a nursery in this neck of Edinburgh's woods. I visited a few nurseries and for me one of the really important factors was outdoor space. I lived in a flat on a main road and I really wanted my little girl to be able to go out and play like I did as a girl. So, when I stumbled upon Forbes Nursery, I fell in love. The nursery is placed opposite Leith Links in what I assume was previously a very very large home / guest house. The nursery is deceptively huge - there are only 4 doors and stairs leading off the entrance way, but it is very tardis like - rooms leading from other rooms. Plenty of space indoors for little tots. An abundance of indoor activities to keep them busy and developing. BUT the clincher - the garden is ENORMOUS! Boasting half an acre of land with lots of little sections, a secret garden, a vegetable patch that the children help to plant, various play park areas, again sectioned for different ages and stages. Lots of outdoor toys - kid heaven! Oh the fun and adventures I could have had in that garden if I was a child again! My daughter is now 2 and has been going for over a year - she loves it - she doesn't want to leave. The carers are so friendly, helpful, caring and informative. My daughter's development has come on leaps and bounds since starting, she's confident, happy, bright and has made so many friends. We have now moved out of the area, but I wouldn't dream of changing her nursery - I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
